HowFoundUs adds one short question to your Shopify Thank you page: "How did you find us?" Shoppers tap an answer, and you see which channels bring orders, including ChatGPT, Gemini and other AI assistants.
One tap to answer
Google, Instagram, TikTok, a friend, AI and your own answers. Each tap is saved, even if the shopper stops after the first one.
See AI as a channel
When a shopper picks AI, they can say which one and what they were looking for, so you learn what people ask AI before they buy.
Results with revenue
Answers by channel with order revenue, a date range, the AI tools named, and a CSV export of every answer.
On the order, too
Each answer is added to its order as a tag such as "Found us: ChatGPT" and as order fields, so you can filter orders and use Shopify Flow.
Set up in three steps
- Install HowFoundUs from the Shopify App Store.
- Open the app and click "Add to Thank you page". In the checkout editor, add the HowFoundUs survey block and save.
- Answers show up in the app after your next orders.
Edit the question and answers in your store's languages, hide or reorder answers, and add your own. The survey is translated into the languages Shopify checkout supports.
